Joe Turner and crew took the Countrywide Presents Straitthunder.com hydroplane to Silverdale August 18 and 19, 2007 and gave the fans there a taste of what to expect at the ULHRA finale in Port Angeles Harbor the last weekend in September.

The following pictures were taken at the festivities leading up to the Port Angeles 4th of July parade, 2007. The first two photos show StraitThunder.com driver Joe Turner giving a hands on tour of the boat to several young fans.
The third photo shows Strait Thunder Volunteers getting ready to lead the Countrywide Presents Straitthunder.com hydroplane in the parade. Along the parade route they were met by rounds of applause while driver Joe Turner rode the boat waving to fans as the volunteers handed out candy.
